Daily Operation
Founded in March 2008 by Jon Lutz
Daily Operation is a serial curatorial project that has and will include shows in studios, apartments, parks, empty real estate, and other venues. Operating somewhat like an itinerant gallery, the shows often highlight some of the same emerging artists while also including other outstanding contemporary artists.

"I particularly liked the communal and participatory nature of my last show, 'I Wanna Be Somewhere.' For this show, I asked 20 artists to make their own version of a diorama and in a very short period of time, they came up with some amazing work. This semi-improvisational way of putting together a show was exciting and rewarding in a different way than a more traditional show."
Recently collaborated with Justin Adian, Patrick Brennan, Ned Colclough, Jaime Gecker, Sue Havens, Jesse Hamerman, Rachel Hayes, Mike Hein, Jasmine Justice, Denise Kupferschmidt, Elisa Lendvay, Ian Pedigo, Meridith Pingree, J.D.Walsh and Wendy White.
